Photograph any receipt — restaurant bill, grocery receipt, store purchase, fuel receipt, or hotel invoice — and the Vision AI extracts every line item with its price, quantity, and category, along with the subtotal, tax, tip, and total. The result is a clean expense record ready for bookkeeping, reimbursement, or personal budgeting.

Expense categorization uses context-aware classification to assign each line item to a budget category: Food & Dining, Groceries, Transportation, Entertainment, Health, Personal Care, Home & Garden, and others. This makes it trivial to understand where money is going across multiple receipts without manual data entry. The category breakdown chart shows spending distribution at a glance.

The CSV export downloads all extracted data in a spreadsheet-compatible format that imports directly into Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, or any expense management software. The Compare Mode allows placing two receipts side-by-side — useful for comparing quotes from two vendors, checking whether prices have changed between two shopping trips, or reconciling expected vs. actual restaurant bills.

Accuracy is typically 90–97% on clearly photographed, printed receipts. Thermal receipt paper that has faded, receipts with grease stains or folds covering text, and handwritten receipts produce lower accuracy. Always verify totals against your actual purchase before submitting for reimbursement.
Q: Can it read receipts in foreign currencies?
Yes. The tool identifies the currency symbol or code present on the receipt and includes it in the extracted data. International receipts in EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, CAD, and other major currencies are supported.
Q: Is my receipt data stored anywhere?
No. The receipt image is processed in your browser and the results are displayed locally. No images, extracted data, or financial information is transmitted to or stored on any server. Your receipt data remains completely private.
